Samsung Galaxy Chromebook CES 2020

Good morning and Happy New Year once again. The first big show of the year for gadget lovers like me is the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. While I’ve not had the ability to attend I’m always perched on social media waiting for the first bit of news to start pouring out. One of my absolute obsessions is Chromebooks or Chrome OS devices in general and this year’s show does not disappoint. I’ll talk about the first device here and then I have another post with the second one.

I’m so excited about this first device. Since I already have a couple of premium Chromebook devices I will not likely snag this one, but it has me excited anyway. I love that Samsung is diving into space previously occupied by the Google Pixelbook (one of my favorites). The Galaxy Chromebook (I love that name) is the first Chromebook announced with an AMOLED screen and it’s 4K. That should provide amazing richness and detail for media consumption. They are using 10th gen Intel processors and have built a keyboard and chassis that looks amazing. I’m going to link to Chrome Unboxed’s video of their first hands-on of the device. It looks fantastic.

I’m really enjoying the design and layout of your site. It’s a very easy on the eyes which makes it much more pleasant for me to come here and visit more often. Did you hire out a designer to create your theme? Superb work!

Thanks for the kind words. I used one of the pre-done themes based on the logo that I had created. I’m glad you like it. I’ve been on the fence about the theme being a little on the dark side, but I really appreciate the feedback.
